Engineering has offered a couple of suggestions which can be done in conjunction with the Issue 28708. We were hoping since the upgrade to the next version of CEE is imminent within the next 2 months, if this can be done post- upgrade. The various options of rebuilding the indexes, after programmatically removing the messages belonging to issues@ list and/or run a semi-complex procedure to create the index on another box (with OOo data) and run a fullIndex disabling the cvs and commits mailing lists. Any of the options would take a considerable effort. This is because of the limitation of running a FULL indexing of the message indexer plugin on CEE 2.6.x.
