------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 4 08:36:25 -0700 2006 ------- This is with Solaris x86 (Nevada b34), with JDS/GNOME vermillion_08 build and with StarOffice 8, build m161 (with the new UNO/atkbridge). Tested with the Orca screen reader. Bringup Tools->Options The StarOffice->View pane has several checkboxes where the text spoken for each one is not specific or very useful. It's just using the section title. In particular: In the "Icon size" section, there are two checkboxes: * Use system font for user interface * Screen font antialiasing Rather than just providing an accessible label of "Icon size", for both of these checkboxes, it would be much more useful to actually provide an accessible label comprising of the section title plus the label for each checkbox. Similar problems with: Section title: Menu Checkbox: Show icons in menus Section title: Font Lists Checkbox: Show preview of fonts Checkbox: Show font history Section title: 3D View Checkbox: Use OpenGL Checkbox: Optimized Output Checkbox: Use dithering Checkbox: Object refresh during interaction See also bug #63980. (This bug needs an "accessibility" keyword added to it). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
