------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 11 05:37:35 -0700 2006 ------- I reconfirmed this bug. Here is my testing procedure: 1. Shutdown OOo, including the Quickstarter. 2. Save the attached file as "C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.0\share\registry\modules\org\openoffice\Office\Recovery\AutoSave-test.xcu" 3. Delete the contents of "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\registry" 4. Run OOo. 5. Confirm that OOo starts with the Registration Wizard. This means that the user data was correctly cleared before starting. 6. Complete the Registration Wizard. 7. Go to Tools | Options | Load/Save | General 8. Confirm that "Save AutoRecovery information..." is UNCHECKED. This means AutoSave-test.xcu has been applied. 9. Confirm that "Save AutoRecovery information..." is not grayed out. This is Part 1 of the bug. 10. Check "Save AutoRecovery information..." and click OK. After a short pause, OOo will disappear and the Document Recovery Wizard will launch. This is Part 2 of the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
