Here are some practical cases where this is really a sever problems :

A web browser plugin (like nsplugin or cuckooo) might want to start OOo in
headless mode, so that OOo has its display inside of the browser.

In such a case, the user would not start intentionally OOo in headless mode.
If, later on, he/she wants to start OOo to modify some letter or so on, he/she
would get the impression that "OOo refuses to start".

Such a situation could happen also with any script (oobasic macros, for
example) that need to start OOo in headless mode, and a user wanting to work
interactively with OOo at the same time.

Proposed change is to make the second call to soffice "wake up" the existing
instance, so that it displays a GUI. In this way, it would not break the "one
instance per user" paradigm.
