Now I see...
But this behaviour is designed / intended. In Writer's page layout all odd pages
are located on a right page and even pages are located on left pages. Thus if
changing from page one to a different page one will leave a blank left page in
between (like in a book).
In Tools.Options.Writer.Print ("Print automatically inserted blank pages") you
can disable the view/printing of such blank pages.
