Hi,

possible problem is the autospellchecking. Please disable it or choose the
proper language setting or add the wrong words to a custom dictionary.

For me saving to ods is only between 2 and 3 times slower than to Excel. This is
because binary representation of data is much faster as you can just write out
the bits and bytes. A text based file format like ours naturally takes a longer
time. But this gives you the possibility to read your data in the future even if
you don't have OOo at this time. Just unzip it and you get your data.

Give us a short comment on the tests about spellchecking please.
