It would be helpful to have javaldx look at which style of UNIX you are running on, and search directories based on that. On Solaris, all the installed versions of Java should be under /usr/jdk (with multiple JRE versioned directories inside there) The tool eventually comes up if I let it sit long enough, so I can do that, then disable java in the properties.
