------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 24 01:53:16 -0700 2006 ------- Every decent text editor (and most of the ancient ones) today have a "Search Next" feature. Our Basic IDE hasn't. This means that for repeated text searches in the Basic IDE, you always need to open the Basic "Search and Replace" dialog. Sadly, it always (according to Murphy) covers the part of the Window where the found text is located. Additionally, it is not really possible to use it with keyboard, since you cannot close and re-open it without losing the search text. This means that repeated text searches in the IDE are really a pain in the neck. The Basic IDE should have the simple and "Search next" functionality as all other applications, pre-configured with a keyboard shortcut. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
