It was subsequently edited in both OO and MS PPT (Office XP version) running on Windows XP. At some point, the edits introduced this bug which prevents proper viewing of the Outline and Notes views. I have looked for early versions of the file (pre bug) but don't seem to have any. I have also tried to re-create the problem in a new file but, so far, I have not been able to do this... I will keep working on trying to reproduce the bug so I can show both pre- and post- edit files. This bug has happened to me several times before so I think I can eventually reproduce it.
