So this is the 32bit OOo on 64bit x86_64. It look 95% a gtk2/pango crash to me.
Opening/Saving/Printing all call a gtk2 dialog, so that's the common factor
there. Your stacktrace looks very similiar to the one belonging to firefox at
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=188764
So give
> chmod 644 /etc/pango/i386-redhat-linux-gnu/pango.modules
a go as a solution.
I'll mark this as "invalid" for OOo, as it's apparently some sort of gtk/pango
installation problem.
