------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 5 13:45:20 -0700 2006 ------- When our proprietary software exports to an Excel file "*.xls" the file has three worksheets in the workbook: ITEMS, CATEGORIES and FULL_CATEGORIES. If the exported file is opened directly in OpenOffice Calc program, the third sheet (FULL_CATEGORIES)is blank. If the file is opened with MS Excel *first*, NOT SAVED, then opened in OpenOffice Calc, the third sheet (FULL_CATEGORIES) is correctly filled with data. The URL, above has the two files to view as an example - one opened in nothing but Calc, the other prviously opened (but not saved) in Excel.
