------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 5 16:06:04 -0700 2006 ------- Hi, I think after doing these two files I know a little bit more about, it always happens, if I save the file as excel file. Here is what I've done: I write the date in the cell: 05/04/06, after using the tab button and jumping to the next cell, the date changed to 05.04.06 I marked the cell and clicked on Format cell I changed the language from standard to English (U.S.) I clicked the OK button the date in the cell changed to 05/04/06 I saved the file as Excel file I closed the file After reopen, it shows me the date as 05.04.06 BUT if I save it as OpenOffice file, the format change keeps save I am sorry for any inconvenience, but I really would like to help to improve OpenOffice, because I think this is a wonderful project! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
