------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 9 07:07:59 -0700 2006 ------- steps to reproduce: -make a new spreadsheet -click save and disable the 'automatic filename extension' option -choose opendocument spreadsheet(.ods) file type from the drop down box -save spreadsheet with ang .xls(Excel) extension -> filename.xls result: calc was actually able to save the spreadsheet as an Excel file.
