When opening a writer document i see on my screen (from left to right)
- a gray area that is a symbol for the desktop
- a white area from that gray area up to a thin vertical line that is a symbol
area for the left margin
- the text

Unfortunately the text is truncated on the right side because the symbols on the
left side consumes much space. I have to scroll manually to the right till the
rigt thin vertical line that is the symbol for the beginning of the right margin
apears.

It would be nice if the screen would be automatically scrolled to right after
opening a document
a) if (and only if) the text area is not fully visible on the screen. That means
if the vertical line that is the symbol for the beginning of the right margin is
not visible.
b) until the beginning of the right margin is visible (may be one or two
millimeters (pixel, points, ...) more so that the vertical line for the
beginning of the margin is realy visible.
c) if the vertical line for the left margin is in danger to go out of the writer
window stop scrolling to the right.

In other words: if the right end of the text is not visible scroll to right
until it is visible or the left edge of the text reaches the left edge of the
window - whatever happens first.
A minimum (less complicated, but only half) solution would be to not show the
left gray area (the desktop background) in such cases.

In right to left writing mode the other way round ;-)
