------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 16 06:56:58 -0700 2006 ------- comparing to the other very expensive products of this type i found a feature that i need and OOv2.0.2 doesn't support it or at least i didn't found it.... it's about protecting parts of the spreadsheet e.g. a region of the spreadsheet cells c1:d8 if are protected and the entire preadsheet is protected to be able to unprotect that region of cells with a different password than the password set for the entire spreadsheet. To be more specific i give you the following example: I am the designer of a document with more sheets... but in one of the sheets i want to give access to a user to complete the data of one column without giving him the possibility of changing anything else in the document but still to be able to save the modifications made by him in the region of cells that he has a unlock password for it. I'm very sure Excel 2003 has this feature.... im looking forward to use 100% OO Calc in the company i work for but i realy need this feature. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
