------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 16 06:35:16 -0800 2005 ------- AW: Dimension lines: People will miss them in impress, be prepared for ibis tasks for that. Does simplifying mean that users need to switch to draw to create them and copy/paste them back to impress? Arrow hair lines: If these are not in Impress, people will use connectors instead (since those are offered with arrows). The CustomShape arrows are no alternative here, people need hairline arrows at their fingertips. All diagrams in slides i have seen here in Orlando in PPT presentatioons for customers used hair line arrows, not CustomShapes. Also, the increased usage of connectors will lead to more Problems with those, the normal user does not understand the difference between lines and connectors and he tends to overestimate the usefullness of connectors if he uses them by purpose, but to underestimate their behaviour when using them as line replacement. This was shown by a lot of connector tasks. I would prefer to hide the connectors by default and to offer the hair lines. Just my 2c. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
