Hi all,

We have started encountering a problem with our migration from 1.1.x to 2.0.x,
in that the saving of any OOo native format or even old OOo format file to our
NFS file share takes an excruciatingly long time, even for small (10k) documents
(Calc, Writer, Draw ou Impress).

The problem : from a Linux box save an open file to the NFS share, the progress
bar displays for a fraction of a second (good), but then the application remains
in a "frozen" state for anywhere between 30 seconds to 4 or 5 minutes (for large
files). By "frozen", none of the toolbar buttons are available, and neither are
the keyboard shortcuts, the application has become completely unresponsive.

The problem does not occur with OOo 1.1.3, 1.1.4, or 1.1.5, and is independent
of the supplier of the OOo package (Ubuntu, Mandriva, Official OOo download).

Alex
