Hi Aniruddha,
no it is not a FEATURE, it is a performance issue (DEFECT). Have you tried to
xml export the issue 29679?
In normal cases you will get the data of an issue in seconds or if IZ is slow in
<2min but here you have to wait 15 min and more (currently we have no stress on
the database and I'm waiting over 15 minutes). And I think we have more of these
candidates with large attachments/documents in IZ. In my eyes it is not
accepable to wait more than 5 min for a simple xml-export, sorry. I think you
can solve this design or what-ever bug you will call it, when you avoid
exporting the attachments/documents by default. A good solution in my eyes is to
export only a link to the documents and the attachment-data like who attached
the document plus when it was attached etc. not the document itself. The
document should be only exported on demand. May be with an additional param?!?
By the way, can you solve also the very old issue 30722 in the same area? If you
need assistance, let me know!
