If I understand you right you have a table in spreadsheet that you want to
insert as an OLE in an impress dcoument. Modifications made in the table should
also appear in the linked OLE in impress. Is that correct?
The easiest way would be to insert the OLE into impress using insert/object/OLE
object/create from file. Then you select the saved spreadsheet file, set a
checkmark at the "link to file" box and click "ok".
On every load of the impress document you are asked if you want to update the
contained links. Also you can update the content using edit/links.../update.
