------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 21 05:47:41 -0700 2006 ------- Symbols in formula editor are mapped to a specific character in specific font, and most of them are also specified to be italic. However, when they are actually used, Math does not know they're italic. For this reason it's not possible to remove their italic look by "nitalic" operator. Moreover, using "italic" operator makes them double-italic which is useless. Steps to reproduce: Enter "%OMEGA", "nitalic %OMEGA", "italic %OMEGA" in Math. Expected results: An italic omega (as set in symbols editor), then non-italiced, then italiced again. Actual results: An italic omega (good), an italic omega again (wrong), a double-extra-italiced omega (bad I suppose, or at least useless). There are two ways I can get non-italiced omega (as an Ohm symbol) but they are all workarounds. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
