(I backed them up and then restored them afterwards.) After examining available documentation pages and looking at some code, I've concluded that services.rdb should be used instead of applicat.rdb. Although the simple registry accepts the DLL, there is still no effect on OpenOffice.org behavior. No communication with the ODMA Connection Manager occurs. I am stymied. I am also far beyond where a non-developer system administrator, integrator, or VAR could carry this out.
