------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 24 15:05:15 -0700 2006 ------- I have KDE set to have the focus follow the mouse without auto-raise. This means that when I moved the pointer into a window that is not on the top of the stack, the window gets focus, and I can click and type into that window, but the window stays where it is in the stacking order. OOo violates this. Whenever the mouse pointer enters an OOo window (spreadsheet, writer, etc.), the window gets focus and automatically raises to the top. This is incorrect behavior. When I close off the "Styles and Formatting" window, OOo then behaves properly. That is, something to do with the way you handle the Styles and Formatting window causes OOo to misbehave. I'm not sure how you're going to fix this, but it's very bad form to violate user UI behavior settings. You might want to consider embedding this somehow in the document windows or communicating with KDE properly, letting it know that the S&F window is supposed to sit strictly on top of the document window. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
