2006 -------
1. Using the report wizard create a new report for a table that contains  
numerical and/or date fields.  It will help if one of the fields in the  
database is a text field with a lot of text in.  This will expand the cells  
vertically in the final report and illustrate the problem clearly. The 
attached database is designed with this in mind. 
2. When you get to the final tab on the wizard, choose to edit the design of  
the report. 
3. Select all of the fields in the report and choose to align them all to the  
top of the table cells using the table vertical alignment tool (right click on 
selected cells - go to Cell -> Top) 
4.  Note that in edit mode, all the fields are now vertically aligned to the 
top of the cell.  Save the report 
5. Run the report.  Note that the any numerical or date fields are not aligned 
to the top of the cell.
