------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jun 6 19:54:48 -0700 2006 ------- I use a french and an english build of OpenOffice.org (not the same language at home / work) When I write formulas, I must write them in the same language as the UI. So in english, it's =SUM(A1:A100) and in french is =SOMME(A1:A100) Inside the .ods file, if I am not mistaken, the same thing is written. In fact, I you write =SUM(A1:A100) and send it to me, I will see SOMME instead of SUM and if I try to write SUM, I'll get a name error. The behaviour is the same as Excel (as is the naming convention) but I'd really like the ability to be able to write functions in the language of my choice (namely : english, same as when I write code). A dropdown menu with languages in Calc's options would be appreciated. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
