This has already been fixed with a very similar code change for the issue
131084. (This is an internal issue created for a crash report.) The fix is
part of child work space impress96.
With regards to the general problem I am currently thinking about restructuring
the slide sorter rendering by using the new canvas instead of the drawing layer
with its volatile objects.
