This makes editing fonts very cumbersome as you have to wait for the text info to appear before you can edit it. This slows down my productivity and makes me want to use another program. I'm sitting behind a 2ghz centrino so I KNOW it isn't my PC (1gb of RAM). Can you improve the user experience by improving these tiems - it's ridiculous that a presentation program 8 yrs ago on a machine of the same vintage had a better user experience, with respect to responsiveness, than what is currently offered by Impress.
