I will be building another system this week for a friend. I will try your suggestion with a fresh OOo2.0.3 on their machine and let you know if it works. Both /opt/openoffice.org2.0 and /opt/java are on the same physical/logical partition and are already mounted. Again, as I do a fresh install in a couple of days, I'll try this if OOo2.0.3 has problems.
