Hmm, this is not a --with-directx-home only problem, all of the switches that
need pathes want them in the POSIX /cygdrive/x/... form.

I think our build instructions should not hide this the way we currently do, and
it would be a nice enhancement to make configure (in cygwin bash) accept also
the pseudo windows paths with / instead of \.
