When I did this my Epson Scanner 5.0 Twain screen came up and did a quick scan for me. (The software allows you to select just a section of the scan befoe it does the final scan) Then when I press the scan button in the twain software nothing happened. I then closed the Epson software and tried again, but the scanner software did not pop up at all this time. At this point I cannot close the Open Office 2.0.3 software. I have to reboot to remove the Open Office writer application.
