I downloaded from www.openoffice.org . Where else would I download it from??
But just to be sure, I ran Windows Install Clean Up, I deleted the OOo installer
directory (the one with the CAB files), I re-downloaded the OOo 2.0.3 setup
file, and ran it. Install ran to completion and told me to reboot.
After rebooting, I tried to start Writer, and got the same missing file error
(stlport_vc7145.dll).
Not only that, but I got something new: Several other files in the OOo program
directory were present with both long and short names.
This seems to be the same problem a Win 98 user reported with OOo 2.0.1 in Issue
59737.
