Hi Gerco-Kees,
In MS Excel, a user can highlight a source cell and intended fill ranges
then use keyboard short cut (Ctrl-D [for fill down] or Ctrl-R [for fill right]).
Currently in Calc the same proceedure brings up a 'dropdown' box with the first
highlited cell, which only fills the last highlighted cell when clicked.
Of course the proper fill function occurs when the user uses the mouse to fill
cells (ie. clicking on bottom right corner of highlighted cell and dragging to
other cells) but this defeats the purpose of the keyboard shortcut.
Another side issue related to this is the default method that the fill works
(regardless of mouse drag or future keyboard shorcut). If there are no numbers
then the fill clones the cells, but if there is a number then the fill creates a
series. Would there be a way to customize the way this works, so the user can
pick which default fill method?
Thanks again for all your help.
