When selecting Unicode, 2 bytes are combined to form 16-bit Unicode characters.
It seems that here no delimiter is recognized and all content gets stuffed into
one cell, maybe also causing complex BiDi layout to be triggered. Has to be
investigated further. Btw, on Solaris/SPARC only a delay of 3 seconds is
noticeable.
