There is a very long delay when I insert a page, I've copied out of firefox. The
editor seams to sleep for about one or two minutes. In this time I can't scroll
the text.
In my firewall I have selected, that OpenOffice is not allowed to go to the
internet. So I think, OpenOffice tries several times to get more informations
from this site. I mean, OpenOffice will look for each link (for example
pictures). If OpenOffice has no access rights to the Internet, it will wait for
each link in the pasted text for a timeout.

After the delay the editor works correct and all the Informations are visible
but pictures not. I can insert pictures by my one. that's no problem, because I
can copy them from firefox manuelly. So I don't understand, why OpenOffice must
try to load aditional informations.

Possible solutions are:
a) OpenOffice checks on startup, if it have internet-access. If not, it never
try to load external Information from the internet.
b) The is a switch in the configuration menue, where the user can forbit
internet-access while pasting a page into the editor.

The solution to allow OpenOffice the internat access is in my oppinion not a
good one, because I don't no if OpenOffice sends messages occassionally to other
people/organisations during my work.
