Are you using a Linux-distribution-modified version of OOo? I'm using the
version from http://download.openoffice.org, and it doesn't seem to support
smb:// links. In the Hyperlink dialog, do you use Web as target type? I do,
and the link has no noticable effect.
I also tried the same with OOo 2.0.3 on Windows Pro 2000, but the link does
nothing there.
