------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 27 09:47:45 -0700 2006 ------- On the matter of detecting which font crashes spadmin: yes spadmin, "sees" system fonts either by using fontconfig (e.g. on all recent linux distros) or by querying the fontpath of the Xserver on systems where fontconfig cannot be accessed. So yes, one of the fonts on your system may cause spadmin to crash even if it is outside OOo's own font directories.
