2006 -------
First, I'm using windows X64, not 2003, though they are similar.

I can start "calc". The blank spreadsheet appears. I can enter a number or digit
in one cell. If I click on another blank cell, the hour glass appears.
Eventually I get the OpenOffice.org crashed message. There is nothing in the
event view to report.

Calc also crashes when I try to open existing spreadsheets. I notice in the task
manager that openoffice is not using the CPU. It is present in the task manager,
but has "00" under the CPU column.

OpenOffice writer works. I suspect a microsoft update has screwed something up
since I used to be able to run Calc. I've gone back to 2.0.1, which also bombed
the same way on calc.

I'm at a loss as to how to provide you more information, but will certainly run
any tests you suggest.
