------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 4 01:40:31 -0700 2006 ------- It's a weird thing by Debian to store in a non-standard profile directory. There are cappted issues requesting that this to the default location: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/mozilla-thunderbird/+bug/47679 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=333509 However, given that there is a request in Mozilla to change the default profile location of Thunderbird to ~/.mozilla/thunderbird (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=247973), we probably need to be prepared for changing profile-locations. Unfortunately, there's no standardized way how an application could detect where Thunderbird is installed, except guessing. So, I will probably implement some fallback strategy, which looks for existing Thunderbird profile directories, in a order of decreasing likelyness. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
