------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 4 03:21:26 -0700 2006 ------- Hi! I created a new Spreadsheet. TEST TESTB 1 A I saved it as dbf and closed it. When I reopened it, the coloum headers had changed: TEST,N,4,2 TESTB,C,1 1 A This is the behavior of every dbf file I open, regardless of the character code and the creator application, OpenOffice or Excel. Same behaviour in every other OOo version starting from 2.0.0 . I know, something similiar had been posted some months before, but it was just said that the dbf file was not standard compliant. In this case, the dbf file was created in OOo from scratch, so this argument should no longer be valid.
