------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Aug 4 08:00:13 -0700 2006 ------- Hi Stella, Thanks for your reply. The alpha transparency of the pngs were not removed, just stored in a different way. Please see Issue 60479. This optimisation was done automatically by the tools I use, which after evaluating the many different ways of storing the image data, must have found that a paletted image + alpha was more efficient than full RGBA. A very handy tool (MS Windows) for looking at the internal data of a png image, is TweakPNG: http://entropymine.com/jason/tweakpng/ Were there any other reasons to mark this Enhancement as 'Wontfix'? Many thanks, Andrew PS- While I await a reply to my email from 'tv', may I start the process of re-assigning icon issues from 'kendy'>'sts', for your review? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
