The requested function is available with button "Object Zoom" (pls. see
screenshot for German version).
When button will be pressed, a zoom will happen so, that the marked object or
group of objects will fill the complete screen.
I no not know whether it is possible to add this to the zoom dialogue, but it's
possible to add "Object Zoom" to the view-menu and it's also possible to define
a shortcut (I tried: <cntrl>+<shift>+<z>). So I do not see anything else that
should be enhanced, except (may be) the possibility to customize the dialogue
Menu "View - Zoom", but this would be something completely different from the
original report.
Please feel free to reopen this issue if you can give reasons, that still some
useful function is missing.
