Hi,
what you describe here is not autocorrection but autocompletion. This feature as
it is is used by a lot people and these people appreciate it a lot.
If you don't like it, switch it off under Tools-Cell Contents-AutoInput
Also it's more or less a double to Issue 51236 and Issue 34417 .
