vq: well, if it's Windows-only... Windows is a non-free system anyway so I
don't care that much.... Then the failure should be for Windows-only, though.
In any case, Debian has make 3.81
(http://packages.debian.org/unstable/devel/make) and mozilla 1.7.13
(which apparently builds with make 3.81 since the last builds were done with
this (see e.g.
http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=mozilla&ver=2%3A1.7.13-0.2&arch=amd64&stamp=1150872251&file=log&as=raw).
So upgrading mozilla (which IMHO should be done anyway due to mozilla in-tree
being 1.7.5 and we all know that there were loads of security bugs fixed in the
meanwhile) might work.
No opportunity to test myself, though, since I don't have Windows anywhere
