------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 10 00:44:22 -0700 2006 ------- Using the "Highlighting" button on the Formatting toolbar, one can change the 'background' color for individual characters in a line of text. This should not change the character spacing, but it does. Under normal circumstances, the change is too small to notice, but if the size of the text is very large, or the line of text is very long, the difference can be seen. The attached document and screenshot demonstrate the problem. I checked 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 on Linux; 2.0.2 on Windows98 also shows similar, but not identical, changes in spacing. The document uses Times New Roman installed on both systems (dual-boot; same font but different files--could explain the difference). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
