------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Aug 14 05:12:18 -0700 2006 ------- I experience a problem with OpenOffice.org, that my UI isn't refreshed properly in some circumstances. 1. OOo has to be installed, but the Quickstarter has to be disabled. 2. Open OOo and zoom the Writer document to let's say 120%. [screenshot1.jpg] 3. Do not do anything else, but open an empty Calc sheet (and keep the zoom to 100%) [screenshot2.jpg and screenshot3.jpg] 4. Press Alt+Tab for switching and see the result [screenshot4.jpg] So far I have not found out a real scheme, but I was able to reproduce it in the following environment: - Windows XP Professional (or Media Center Edition, did not test Home Edition, but I guess it will have the same behaviour) - OOo 2.0.3 (RCs had the same problem) - Windows Classical Skin activated (misteriously bug does not occur all the time with XP Luna skin) - Windows visual settings are set to "best design" (translated from German, so please bear with me - see attached screenshot WindowsSettings.jpg) I tried it on two different machines, with different graphic chipsets. It seems to depend on the Windows graphic settings and a setting in my OOo profile and it *ONLY* occurs, when the text document has a zoom, but I'm clueless what the culprit is. I tried playing around with my settings, enabling and disabling OpenGL in OOo, but it does not help. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
