"You now have an opportunity to register your copy of OpenOffice.org. This
helps us keep track of the number of people using Openoffice.org, and means we
can keep you informed of new versions. Registration is optional, without
obligation, and entirely free of charge."

Do we actually inform people of new versions? The more I think about this, the
more uncomfortable I feel. If we are saying we will use people's email
addresses, then we should also have something about safeguarding people's
privacy / not passing on to third parties / allowing them to unsubscribe at any
time / etc.

Unless there's a very good reason for collecting email addresses (e.g. email
notification of urgent security fixes?), I'd prefer *not* to collect them at
all.
