I entered a sentence with "KTo" in a field, and after I left the field, it got
autocorrected to "Kto" which is not what I want. I clicked the popup thing for
AutoCorrect that appeared, and found in the help file:

To turn on or to turn off the AutoCorrect feature, in
OpenOffice.org Calc choose Tools - Cell Contents - AutoInput

I did this, and re-entered my text but it continued to be auto-corrected, ie.
turning off that checkbox made no difference. I tried turning it off and on
again to make sure.

For now I have worked around the issue by unticking the relevant option under
Tools > AutoCorrect > Options

Also, the documentation is bad: it took me a while to find that section I quoted
above. After I clicked the popup that appeared when the AutoCorrect happened, I
got a page titled "AutoCorrect has been activated", and that had a link at the
bottom "Turning off AutoCorrect and AutoFormat". I clicked that, and the next
page advised turning it off with Format > AutoFormat > While Typing -- and that
menu does not exist. That page also advised using Ctrl-Z to undo the change, but
pressing Ctrl-Z deleted all of the text I'd just entered in the cell!

I then noticed that this had taken me to the Writer documentation. I suggest:
  1) The Calc "Autocorrect has been activated" page should not link to the
Writer documentation
  2) Ctrl-Z in Calc should undo an AutoCorrect but not undo the entire cell
entry.
