with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" and con confirm the
effect, that OOo shows the date "2006-08-17" as normal number "38946" as
reported.
I can not decide whether that's an "OOo"-problem or a "KSpread"-problem.
I additionally created an OOo document with contents "2006-08-17" and then
compared 'styles.xml' and 'content.xml'; there are many differences between OOo
and KSpread version.
a XML spcialist should decide.
