------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 20 10:37:04 -0700 2006 ------- @james : I have just added more comments to i68263. I can read/write via the MySQL JDBC driver to a locally hosted mysql server on the same Mac machine from within OOo m180. I can neither read nor write to tables hosted on a remote mysql server from within OOo m180. If I try the same operations via CocoaMySQL, I have no problem either accessing, inserting new data, or modifying existing data on the remote mysql server. The question remains : what is Mac OOo passing to the MySQL JDBC driver that causes the operations to fail ?
