Easily reproducible.
Open a presentation, click Help > OpenOffice.org Help
click the Find tab and enter text for search
click Find
impress crashes
Tested on 3 machines: 2 Debian/Sarge with openoffice 2.0.3 from backports.org
1 Ubuntu Dapper 6.06
If opened from a konsole, the screen reports:
with debian:
$ ooffice -impress
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice: line 236: 7258 Segmentation fault
"$sd_prog/$sd_binary" "$@"
with ubuntu:
$ ooffice -impress
KCrash: Application 'soffice.bin' crashing...
X IO Error
