The problem is triggered in acroread by the small transparent portions used (see
the pinkish little boxes around "Activity". The crash did not occur in 1.1.x
because transparency was handled internally (that is alpha composition was done
in OOo and the composited graphics elements wer output as one bitmap). BTW: the
crash happens in 5.0.10 also; also it is not necessary to use the text select
tool, simply dragging the contents around with the drag tool is sufficient. I
think this is a bug in AR (as versions 6 and 7 don't have a problem with the
file).
Currently there is no known workaround other than either using AR 6 or above or
not using transparency. I'll see if there is a way to workaround this AR issue
in the code.
